Stone Therapy is an ancient healing art that has been around for thousands of years dating back to the Egyptians. Basalt stones are heated up to about 130 degrees or chilled . The rocks are used to massage the whole body. Due to this fact, the massage experience takes on an entirely different feeling than general hand massage. It invokes both a sensation of being a sedative as a result of the warmth and a revitalizer from the contrasting cool.

Stones are placed under the body, on the body and are used to massage you. The warmth from the stones reaches deep into your muscles, melting tension and stress. A stone held in each hand relaxes your hands and sends the warmth up your arm.

The hot stones seem to connect the flow or paths of energy together in order to rebalance the physical body, emotional mind and soaring spirit as one. I  leave heated stones in specific points along your spine, or in the palms of your hand, or even between your toes to improve the flow of energy in your body. The feet are extremely energy sensitive and are also stimulated in Hot Stone Massage.

A customized aromatherapy blend can be used to oil the body before working the stones along muscles and the meridians and energy points of the body.

Aura Stone/Chakra Massage Therapy

This Massage has an unusal flair as you pick cards to find your totem animals for each direction - east, south, west and north. Using various placements of hot rocks, this modality promotes emotional, mental , physical and spiritual balancing. The energy focus comes from  the elements, power animals, the rocks and balancing the chakras .
